My Five Favorite Photographs:

Hello, I am Rachael
I like art a lot and I like to try new things. Photography has always interesting to me but I have never really pursued  it till now. Here are my five favorite photographs.

 My five favorite photographs:

 1. Photo by George Karbus
I found this photo scrolling through pinterest a couple weeks ago and I really like it so I made it my phone wallpaper for a couple days.I like the composition a lot mostly because it has movement and the black and white aspect shows the veins in the jelly fish. I also love the light rays in the background.

2. I do not know how took this photo :(
The reason I chose this photo is because its just cool to look at, basically also the feeling it gives me like rushed I guess. But that’s cool how a photograph can do that.

3. Again I don’t know who took this but I believe It from World War Two.
I like this picture because I take it as a statement  about how war affects people and the environment. We can’t see the men’s faces in the picture but one is staring toward the camera which I find eerie and unsettling. Composition wise the way the trees look is cool and the reflections add depth and kind of a reality also the broken tree  and the bridge in the front breaks up the consistency which make sit interesting. Also  the movement of the bridge helps with the composition.

4.  Photo by Andra Dragon
This photograph has a really cool composition because the water warps the girls eye and face. Also the color scheme is really appealing with the goldfish and the reflection on the the glass bottle is really appealing.

5. I don’t know who took this photo but I know the the place where the the statue, its in the John Pennekamp Coral Reef.
I like this photo because of the texture of the statue and the placement of the statue’s hands and the statues face looking upwards is beautiful and makes the picture interesting.
