Movement I really like movement and lines in photographs so here a some photos with lost of lines and movement . The movement is all in the lines. I really like the reflection I think it makes the photo more complex. I also like the telephone pole and the car at the bottom I think they let the eye travel all over the picture.                                          I know I used this picture for a photo sketch all ready but I love it. Also the shadows do lead the eyes everywhere. This photo has lines  that lead all the wya up to Walgreens. I like the repetition of the lines it gives a very strong line for the eye to follow. This is my mom driving. I can’t remeber if I used a long exposer or not. But she didn’t pose even though it looks like it. She was just driving. 9/3-9/13 Photo Sketches In my Hood This is at a Kroger near my house. I like the way the tree looked next to the building. H is for... HONK! Because this is at a traffic light near my friend’s house. I really like the way the tree is almost moving and the lines are really strong in the photo. Upside Down This is at a very old grave yard outside a library. I got a lot of weird looks for taking this photo from people driving but it’s fine.I turned the camera upside down while I was taking it cause I wanted to  try out a  different  angle. (FYI The grave yard is from the 1920’s so that cool, that’s what it said but I do not know for sure) I also prayed before so I wouldn’t be haunted, just for safety. Right as I get Home This is the back of my house but I when I go home I sometimes chill outside cause most days its nice.

Shape The shape I picked was a circular type of shape, I say circular because I feel like the photos don't necessarily represent a circle but close to the shape of a circle. In this photo the shape would be the circle of the statues head. I also like the lines with the grass and the building behind the statue. The circle is very clear in the statues cheeks. You can see the circles of light, even though they sorta blend near the bottom. This one is harder to see but the circle is the reflection of the pot. I also like the aloe vera’s leaves in the reflection. The circle in. This pick is the round part of a beach chair but the most interesting part is the pillow and the color of the chair and pillow. This is my favorite out of the five, I like it because it look really cool and the lines are its more complex. The circle in this photo is the base of the lines make a circle in the shadow which I thought was cool.

8/19- 9/3 Photo Sketch High-school When I get home from school I have homework which takes up a good amount of time. Indoor Plant This is my indoor snake plant named Kaa (the snake from the jungle book) I like the way the leaves look when I took the picture sideways  I also like Garfield in the picture because I thought it helped break up the green. Me This is a picture of me that my friend took of me. I like it mostly because it reminds me of taking to her. But photo wise I like the focus of the camera because it focuses on my face and not the background and my hands. In the Morning This is what I come out of my house to most mornings my neighbors cat most of the times visits me before I leave for the bus. She’s really sweet we named her Erin but we don’t know her real name. I like this photo because it look likes it”s in motion also I like the lines that the drive way makes.

Confidence In Photography           Some things I could do to become a better photographer is to let other people critique me. That way I can learn from others mistakes. I could also hang around other photographers and watch videos on youtube or other platforms. This can help me think about photography more and get more prospectives. I could also practice photography more often so I can get better at composing photos. With all of this I can improve my photography which in turn would make me a more confident photographer.
